9:30-9:50 Circle Time

• Pledge of Alligiance

• Calendar (month of the year, day of the week, weather, patterns, helpers, songs)

• English and Spanish Theme Relatated Vocabulary Words

• Sign Language

• Letter of the Week (Focus on a new letter each week)

• Numbers of the Month (Focus on 2 numbers each month)

• Color of the Month (Focus on 1 color each month)

• Shape of the Month (Focus on 1 shape each month)

• Theme Related Story

(Children are also read to spontaneously throughout the day as books are placed throughout the classroom in each interest center as well as an abundant supply of books in our literacy center)

9:50-10:00 PE/Music and Movement (Teacher Lead Physical Activity)

10:00-10:15 Snack

10:15-10:45 Morning Recess - Outdoor Play and Exploration

10:45-11:00 Small Group (Morning Work)

11:00-12:00 Free Choice Interest Centers

12:00-1:00 Lunch

1:00-3:00 Nap/Quiet Time

3:00-3:15 Yoga/Strength and Stretching Exercises (Teacher Lead Pysical Activity) 

3:15-3:30 Snack

3:30-4:00 Afternoon Recess - Outdoor Play and Exploration

4:00-5:00  Free Choice Interest Centers

5:00 Parent Pickup
